Gwynedd has so much to offer beach lovers thanks to its incredible coastal terrain. There are enormous sandy beaches, some of the most beautiful sections of the Wales Coast Path and its very own wild peninsula, all set against the mountainous backdrop of Snowdonia National Park. There are fabulous family friendly beach resorts including Barmouth and Caernarfon and if you fancy a wilder atmosphere, try the Llyn Peninsular, where you’ll find many gorgeous wild beaches and coastal towns like Abersoch and Pwllheli.
