A beautiful summer morning at Portscatho in Cornwall

Portscatho Beach

Portscatho Beach

Portscatho Beach is a little rocky cove at the bottom of Gerrans Bay, on the Roseland peninsula. This cove is the nearest beach to Portscatho and only a short walk from the village, so you’re never too far from cafes and shops.

At low tide the beach reveals sand and rock pools so it’s a great place for a quick paddle and a fish with the kids. There are no facilities or amenities on this beach but there are plenty in the village and you can almost always have the beach to yourself.
