Surrounded by forested headlands, Maenporth Beach is a lovely protected beach with a relaxed vibe. It possesses every kid’s favourite combo of sand and rock pools and is a gently shelving beach providing warmer, safer paddling and swimming. Water sports are popular here and visitors can organise the hire of equipment including diving gear, kayaks and sailing boats.

There is an excellent beach cafe that offers beach gear for sale as well. There are toilets available (including a disabled toilet) and the parking is shore side and accessible with wheelchairs in mind. There is a dog ban during spring and summer.
