Gyllyngvase Beach

Gyllyngvase Beach

Gyllyngvase Beach has a reputation as the best beach in Falmouth which is perhaps down to its Blue Flag status, spotless pale sand, natural beauty, great location, excellent facilities and its gourmet beach cafe that offers amazing views, delicious food and live music. Of course there’s another less formal food-outlet that sells takeaways, snacks and ice creams.

Families will love this perfect crescent shaped beach, as it’s spacious and well organised so that kids can roam free and explore the rock pools unattended without getting lost. RNLI Lifeguards operate from May to September and there are toilets and parking at the rear of the beach which includes disabled facilities. Pet lovers looking for somewhere to exercise their hound, please be aware that a dog ban is enforced between Easter and September.
