Watergate Bay

Watergate Bay is a lovely wide sandy beach that lies north of Newquay on the north coast of Cornwall. Watergate Bay is very popular with families escaping the crowds in Newquay and surfers also flock here to catch the magnificent Atlantic swells.

All of the beach facilities, including a cafe, shop, toilets and deck chairs, are based at the ‘valley entrance’ to the beach and it should be noted that the sand all but disappears at high tide. Dogs are welcome all year round.
