Praa Sands Beach is a long sandy beach ideal for families located in the popular seaside resort of Praa Sands. It is popular with surfers too as it picks up a southern swell, which makes for perfect waves. Most of the amenities are clustered on the west side of the beach while the east side is rockier and wilder.

There are plenty of car parks, a couple of cafes, a shop, toilets, disabled facilities, a first aid point, a lost child centre and a lifeguard service in the higher seasons. Dogs are banned from the beach from Easter to the end of October.
