Pevensey Bay Beach

Pevensey Bay Beach

Pevensey Bay Beach is a pebble and shingle beach with flat sands at low tide and is popular for sunbathing, swimming and windsurfing as well as families with young children. This is a natural and unspoilt beach that doesn’t suffer from the congestion normally associated with larger resorts.

There are disabled parking spaces available, toilets nearby and there are cafes within a short walk of the beach. In the early 1800’s there were many towers built along this section of the East Sussex coast as part of the Napoleonic defences of England. With dogs allowed all year round check out all of the Pevensey Bay cottages that allow dogs.
