The Isle of Anglesey really does feel like an independent island with its own unique character and culture. And whilst this island is an outdoor adventure playground, life here moves at a gentler, natural pace. Almost all the coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with an abundance of wildlife and natural beauty and it is not uncommon to spot dolphins and other aquatic animals from the shore, especially on the gorgeous beaches of Rhosneigr or Trearddur Bay. Of course the best way to see the treasures of Anglesey’s protected coast is on foot, horseback or bicycle along the 200km Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path that circumnavigates the island.
