Gwithian Beach

Gwithian Beach

Gwithian Beach is a super long, sandy beach near Gwithian that links up Godrevy Beach and Hayle Towans when the tide is low. This is a very popular surfing beach that appeals to all levels, and despite the occasional rip currents, it also attracts families who come to enjoy the space and rock pools.

The beach facilities are perfect, with convenient parking, a shop, a cafe and toilets. Lifeguards provide cover over Easter and from May to October, which extends to weekends in October. Dogs are banned in the summer months but neighbouring Hayle Towans offers exercise zones.
