This detached coastal cottage sits on the clifftops above Mawgan Porth, 200 metres from the beach, with sweeping ocean views from three of its four bedrooms. Made for families and groups, the property is well placed for surfing, coastal walking, and time on the sand. Below the cliffs, Mawgan Porth Beach stretches out with white sand and a gentle river that trickles across the shore to meet the sea. The South West Coast Path runs right along the clifftop, connecting to Watergate Bay in one direction and Bedruthan Steps in the other, where dramatic rock stacks rise from the shoreline near a historic Iron Age settlement. Cafes and shops line the beachfront, and a surf school operates from the beach. Seasonal crazy golf and pitch and putt sit close by. Padstow, with its harbour and restaurants, is a little further along the coast.

The ground floor centres around a spacious open-plan living and dining area with wide sea views, a wood burner, and comfortable seating arranged across two sofas and a window seat. A Smart TV with Sonos soundbar is set up in the living space, and the dining area has room for eight around the table. The kitchen leads off from here, with a separate utility room alongside. Two bedrooms sit on the ground floor - the first with a king-size bed and sea views, the second with twin beds. A shower room with a walk-in rainfall shower serves both rooms, with a separate WC next door. On the first floor, the third bedroom has a king-size bed, a sofa, and sea views, while the fourth bedroom has a double bed and its own sea views. The family bathroom on this floor has a bath, a separate rainfall shower, and a WC.

The large enclosed garden has a table and eight chairs for al fresco dining, with views out to sea. A BBQ is set up for outdoor cooking, and a hot outdoor shower is on hand for rinsing off after the beach. The property sits in an exposed clifftop position, and the path to the beach leads down a hill. Private parking for at least four cars is available on the gated driveway.
