Fistral Beach

Fistral Beach

Famed for its high quality surf, Fistral Beach in Fistral Bay, North Cornwall is west-facing lending it to the consistent Atlantic swells that have been known to create waves in excess of 12m high. Just under a kilometre west of Newquay this popular sandy beach offers a range of facilities including car parks, toilets, beach cafes and restaurants and is a popular hang out for large groups on surf holidays.

In summer the beach can become quite busy with surfers, families with children and the odd festival creating a fabulous seafront atmosphere. RNLI Lifeguards are on hand from May to September and bathers should be aware that there are rip currents present depending on the conditions. Fistral Beach allows dogs on the beach all year round, making it an excellent option for pet owners.
