Yarmouth Beach

Yarmouth Beach

Yarmouth Beach is made-up of a small stretch of sand and shingle that lies on the mouth of the River Yar, hence its name! At high tide the beach at Yarmouth almost disappears but it does have a beautiful grade II listed pier and is very popular for water sports throughout the year.

Both the beach and pier offer excellent views across the Solent and the Isle of Wight coastline. Around the beach there is parking, a boat club, cafe, restaurant and toilets. This beach has no lifeguards and dogs have restricted access to the shore from May till October.
