Lowestoft Beach is an award winning sandy beach, also known as Claremont Pier Beach because of its beautiful big pier, located in Lowestoft on the Suffolk coast. Swimming is very safe and in the summer there are lots of activities and events held on the beach including volleyball and a summer fair.

The facilities are great and include a cafe, restaurant, shops, toilets with disabled access, a first aid point and a lost child centre. There is also a zone for water sports such as snorkelling, jet-skiing, surfing and wind surfing. Dogs are welcome all year round.
